eBook Covers

Creating an eBook cover shouldn't necessarily cost you a fortune. You can make simple and stunning artworks yourself with the help of free tools like GIMP and Paint.Net.

Paint.Net is one of my favorite image editors to work with. It is free and easy to use. If you're not yet familiar with it, check out some tutorials on their Forum or on YouTube to learn the basics.

And GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is the other fave of mine. Also free and powerful. You can find tutorials on their site here or on YouTube.

You can make images using your smartphone's camera, or via a photo editor / paint program, or those that are in the public domain - make sure you read and understand the terms of such images.

Check out  Pexels, or istockphoto, Dreamstime, Morguefiles, Flickr.

There is a vast list on KDP forum for free and paid sources for images, HERE.
Check it out, but keep in mind, you have to always check the given site's own terms and conditions.

I have some photos on my Pinterest board here, that are free to use as your book / ebook covers, [No Unlawful Use, No Use in Trademark or Logo, No False Representation of Authorship] Just bear in mind that these images were made with a 2MP camera and may appear elsewhere.
